Iteration is good! How about drawing lines from the images to specific things in the timeline....make the connections apparent? Other iterations....take the section and watercolor over it to give a sense of the warmth of material or not in some cases? or what about a light and shadow study - working with location of windows and the spaces (do this big print on paper 18 x 24?)
I didn't realize we could zoom in on the comment until I clicked on it! In seeing it close up, the first thing I was drawn to was the contrast between the black and white library scene and the color-filled photo of people sitting around tables outside talking. A library is a place of communication, but is a communication between the occupant and an author. It is an internal, nonverbal process. An outdoor dining patio is also a place of communication (or a place designed to support a conversational atmosphere), but this communication is between occupants of the space. Interesting that a book (or one reading a book) brings with it a sense that one should not speak to this person. Are there other elements that we put into our spaces (without knowing) that signal no discussions are to take place?
